Carrot Salad(Carrot kosmir)


Carrot is supposed to be very good for eyes. Some people (like me) dont like it when carrot is added to sambar. So Kosmir or kosambir is a healthy and delicious way of eating it.

Ingredients:
1. Carrot 2
2. Lemon juice 2 tbl spns
3. Mustard,Cumin seeds and urad daal Half tea spns each
4. Green chillies 4-5
5. Curd 2 tea spn
6. Grated coconut 2 tea spn
7. Coriander leaves
8. Oil
9. Salt

Method:
Grate carrot into small pieces. Add chopped chillies, lemon juice, coconut and curd. Heat oil in a pan and add mustard, cumin seeds and urad daal. When they start to splutter add this to carrot. Garnish with finely chopped coriander leaves.
